I thought this was an unusual film subject executed very well. It gave an interesting and fairly believable behind-the-scenes insight into the lives of the royal family (and in fact the prime minister). The main focus is on the reaction following Princess Diana’s death. Apparently much of the film was based on transcripts of actual phonecalls made at the time.

Yay for John Lewis

John Lewis have just started stocking lots of lovely Ecover products. I have now extended my collection to include the squirteco and limescale remover, both of which are great. I managed to get the bathroom looking pretty shiny in an ecological manner the other day :o)

Allotment loveliness

I have just acquired 5 rods-worth of allotment :o) It’s all very exciting. Living in a flat I do miss having a bit of land, so I’m going to have a combination of garden and vegetable plot. What’s really great is that I’m next to two friends so we can tackle it all together. There’s plenty of clearing to be done first and I was hoping to get down there yesterday, but there was a *LOT* of rain :o( Am hoping for more success tomorrow.
